Tech Faces Off with No. 8 Spring Arbor

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer hits the road this weekend as they take on No. 8 Spring Arbor University (Mich.) on Saturday evening.
 
The Warriors (1-1-0) are coming off their first victory of the season, a 3-0 decision over Trinity Christian College (Ill.) on Wednesday. Jessica Zurcher scored two goals for the Orange and Black while Alena Payne made six saves in goal to earn her first career shutout.
 
The Cougars (3-1-0) are coming off a 3-1 win over fellow WHAC member Davenport (Mich.). Bethany Balcer scored in the 29th minute for her team-leading third goal and also added two assits in the game. Corrie Good and Aubrey Schierbeek both have two goals for the Cougars. Sarah Yancer has played every minute in goal so far this season while making 14 saves and holding a 1.192 goals against average (GAA), allowing only five goals in four games.
