FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team was released its schedule for the 2019 season, the 10
th in program history, head coach
Bryan Seaman announced.
The Warriors begin their 10
th year February 23 as they travel to Leavenworth, Kansas for a matchup with University of Saint Mary before battling Benedictine College one day later. Tech then travels to Williamsburg, Kentucky for a rematch with two-time defending NAIA National Invitational champion Reinhardt University on March 2 while they end their four-game road trip to start the season with a game against University of the Cumberlands March 3.
The Orange and Black open their home slate with back-to-back contests March 6-7 as they host Robert Morris University (Ill.) and Tennessee Wesleyan before opening Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) action March 13 on the road against Cleary University. The rest of the month as Coach Seaman's squad taking on Columbia College (March 16), Concordia University (March 23), the University of Michigan-Dearborn (March 27) and Ottawa University (March 30).
The month of April has the Warriors in only conference games as they host defending WHAC regular season and tournament champion Madonna University (April 3), Lourdes University (April 13) and WHAC newcomer Taylor University (April 17) while the team travels to Lawrence Tech (April 6), Aquinas College (April 10) and Siena Heights University (April 20).
The 2019 WHAC Tournament will feature the top six teams and begins with the quarterfinals at the third and fourth seeds April 23, while the semifinals and championship will be held April 25 and 27, respectively, at the higher seed.
The 2019 NAIA National Invitational returns to Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan for the second straight year and runs May 8-11.
