Warriors End Regular Season with Split, Earns Seventh-Seed for WHAC Tournament

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 4 FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech softball team closed out their regular season with a split of their last two series this weekend at Warrior Park, sweeping Lourdes University, 3-2 and 7-5, while falling in both games to Siena Heights, 6-5 (F/9) and 8-4.
 
The Warriors conclude the regular season with a 23-24 record and went 11-11 in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play and will be the seventh seed in this week's WHAC Tournament in Sylvania, Ohio. It is the second straight season in which the Warriors will be participating in the WHAC Tournament after a six-year hiatus.
 
Tech will open up the eight-team, double elimination tournament against second-seeded Lawrence Tech on Wednesday, May 1. First pitch is set for 4 p.m. from Pacesetter Park.
