FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On Saturday morning, the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference released the 2023 conference awards for the Esports Rocket League season. Indiana Tech's
Gage Fabish would represent the Warriors, earning All-WHAC First Team honors this season.
Fabish, a freshman from DeMotte, Indiana was named to the All-WHAC First Team after a stellar season for The Orange & Black. He helped lead the Warriors to a third-place finish in the WHAC Rocket League standings, on a team that has seen a total revamping from last season. Fabish was a major factor in helping improve the side in his freshman campaign, as the Warriors finished 11-5 in WHAC play this season after going 0-14 last season. Fabish would lead the Warriors with 63 goals, 42 assists, and 82 saves, all team highs. Those totals were also good for seventh overall in the WHAC in goals, eighth in assists, and sixth in saves.
The WHAC League of Legends and Overwatch seasons will be played in the spring. Those conference awards, as well as Champions of Character and All-Academic Team members will be honored then.
