FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech softball team was well represented on the list of regular season honors and awards as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced the Softball Conference Honors in conjunction with the conference tournament.
Savannah Bravo,
Bella Brock, and
Jordan Dippel were the Warriors named to First Team All-Conference for their performances throughout the season. Dippel was also named the conference's Co-Newcomer of the Year. The Dallas, Oregon, native is a graduate transfer who led the Warriors in batting average this season, hitting .483. Brock was a wall at short this season as she led the Warriors in assists with 69. Bravo led the team in innings pitched in her freshman season with 131.1. She holds a 14-3 record and has an ERA of 1.97.
Warriors earning Second Team All-Conference Honors were
Meagan Barton,
Jayme Koning,
Katie O'Drobinak,
Karra Leeger-Capraro,
Carlye Walter, and
Alyssa Fox. Bravo and Dippel were also Tech's representatives on the All-Defensive Team. Head Coach
Stephanie Zimny was honored as the Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Warriors to their first conference title in program history and a 40-win season.
The Warriors had 8 student-athletes,

Karlee Barnhill,
Kennedi Sullivan,
Madisyn Miller,
Meagan Barton, and
Meghan Berlin, named to the WHAC All-Academic Team, while
Alyssa Fox was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
Members of the All-AcademicTeam must be a junior or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA, while those on the Champions of Character Team best represent the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
