FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference released the softball conference awards on Tuesday afternoon, with four Warriors earning all-conference honors.
Kiersten Delaney and
Maire Trouba were named to the WHAC All-Conference First Team, while
Savannah Bravo and
Kaelie Kugler were named to the WHAC All-Conference Second Team. Along with her First Team selection,
Maire Trouba was also named to the All-Defensive Team.
Trouba, a senior from Boonville, Indiana, earned a First Team All-Conference and All-Defensive Team selection this season after starting 35 of the 41 games she's played. Trouba finished second on the team in batting average with a .364. She had 47 hits in 129 at-bats, with 24 RBIs, a team-high 40 runs scored, and 32 stolen bases. Defensively, she finished ninth on the team with 40 putouts, adding 27 assists on a .957 fielding percentage.
Delaney, a junior from West Lafayette, Indiana, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting 32 of the 40 games she appeared in this season. She finished first on the team in batting average with .387. She recorded 43 hits in 111 at-bats, with a team high 31 RBIs, scored 28 runs, and had seven stolen bases. Defensively, she recorded 75 putouts with a .974 fielding percentage.
Bravo, a junior from Arroyo Grande, California, earned Second Team All-Conference honors after starting 19 of the 21 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She holds a 13-7 record in the circle, throwing 130.1 innings and 13 complete games. She recorded 134 strikeouts while only walking 16 and had a team-best ERA of 2.85.
Kugler, a junior from Elizabeth, Colorado, earned a spot on Second Team All-Conference honors this season after starting 33 of the 41 games she played. Kugler holds a .325 batting average, which puts her fourth on the team. She recorded 25 hits in 77 at-bats with 18 runs scored and seven stolen bases. Defensively, she recorded 60 putouts and 14 assists with a .902 fielding percentage.
Bella Brock was named as Indiana Tech's representative for the Champions of Character Team, which is made up of one nominee from each school who best exemplifies the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
Indiana Tech also had 10 players named to the All-Academic Team, including

Savannah Bravo,
Bella Brock,
Kiersten Delaney,
Allie Forster,
Alyssa Fox,
Taylor Hodgen,
Kaelie Kugler,
Haylee Pruitt, and
Maire Trouba. To be named to the all-academic team, students must be a sophomore or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA and in attendance at the nominating school for one full year.
