FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team was picked to finish first in the 2025-26 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the conference announced Thursday.

Indiana Tech received 133 points in this year's preseason ranking with eight first-place votes after finishing last season with a 23-8 overall record and an 18-2 record in the conference, which was enough to claim the regular season title. In the poll, the Warriors come in 15 points ahead of second-ranked Madonna University. Rochester Christian was ranked third with 108 points, one point ahead of fourth-place Cornerstone University. Tech will start their season on October 28^th as they host Indiana University Northwest.

The WHAC Preseason Poll is voted on by the league's head coaches. Points are tabulated by assigning 12 points to the team a coach ranks first, 11 points to a team a coach ranks second, and so on. The number of first-place votes indicates the number of coaches who ranked that team as the No. 1 team in the WHAC.
