Warriors Down Saints 3-1 in Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team closed out October on a high note, picking up a 3-1 (25-13, 25-20, 21-25, and 25-15) win on the road, defeating Siena Heights in Adrian, Michigan.

The Warriors came out firing in the opening set, cruising to a 25-13 victory after establishing a commanding lead early in the set. The second set followed a similar pattern as Tech jumped to a lead with four straight points to open the set. Despite a late rally from the hosts, the Warriors held off the pressure and took the set 25-20. The hosts found life in the third set, capitalizing on some untimely miscues from the Warriors to steal the set 25-21, forcing a fourth set. The Orange and Black quickly responded in the fourth set, jumping out to a 9-4 lead, which was capped off with a run of service aces from Emiline Wood. After establishing the early lead, the Warriors would go on to seal the match with a 25-15 set win.

Lauren Snyder led the Warriors' attack with 14 kills, followed by Lauren Paska with 10. Emiline Wood served up four aces. Hannah Teich and Jacqueline Allaway matched each other's block total with six each. Kirstin Matlak distributed 28 assists. Kassidy Boener and Emiline Wood both tallied 11 digs in the contest.
