Women’s Hockey Building a House at No. 7 After Ninth Straight Ranking at the Seven Spot

TROY, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's hockey is building a house at No. 7 after a ninth straight ranking and over three months in the 7 spot as the ACHA released its 13th D1 Top 15 Ranking of the 2024-25 season on Tuesday night.

Last weekend, the Warriors picked up a pair of blowout shutout victories over Aquinas with a 6-0 win on Friday night and put up an all-time best performance on Saturday with a 16-0 win. The top 11 spots in the ACHA ranking would stay the same this week as the Warriors stay at No. 7 again, still sitting behind No. 6 Minot State (N.D.) and ahead of No. 8 Michigan-Dearborn. Liberty (Va.) is No. 1 with Adrian (Mich.) and Maryville (Mo.) following.

Tech is currently 17-9-2 overall on the season and 9-5-0 in CCWHA play. The Warriors will finish the regular season this weekend with a two-game home stand against Rhode Island on Friday, February 14th and on senior day Saturday, February 15th. Both games will be at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
