Box Score 4 MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Indiana Tech softball team traveled down to Florida for their annual spring break trip participating in the Space Coast Games. The Warriors would start off the weekend with two doubleheaders, playing Brewton-Parker College (Ga.) and Bloomfield College (N.J.) on Saturday and Florida National University and Waldorf (Iowa) on Sunday.
On day one, the Warriors would easily handle business, taking care of Brewton-Parker 8-2 and NCAA D2 side Bloomfield 9-1 in six innings. Tech would roll that momentum into day two, picking up two more solid wins, defeating Florida National 4-2 and Waldorf 8-2.
The Warriors improve to 6-4 overall on the season and start their spring break trip a perfect 4-0. Up next, they will travel down the Florida coast to the Miami area to play two true road doubleheaders against #19 St. Thomas University (Fla.) and Keiser University (Fla.) on Monday and Tuesday, March 10th and 11th.
