FORT WAYNE, Ind. – On Saturday, the 2025 women's lacrosse season came to an end. The #7 Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team had a bye on the final day having played their final game last Wednesday against #9 Marian. Tech would finish with a 6-1 conference record with their only lost coming against the Knights. Marian would win their season finale on Saturday to end win a tie with the Warriors at 6-1 in WHAC play. Their one lost came against #5 Lawrence Tech, who also finished at 6-1 falling to the Warriors earlier in the season.
All three teams would be crowned as WHAC Co-Champions, finishing at 6-1 and going 1-1 against each other head-to-head. They would all beat every other team in conference meaning it would go to a third tiebreaker, goals allowed. Indiana Tech allowed 46 goals, Lawrence Tech allowed 42, and Marian allowed 38, making Indiana Tech the three seed. The top seed would then be determined based on the head-to-head matchup between Lawrence Tech and Marian, which LTU won giving them the top seed overall and making Marian the two seed.
For the WHAC Tournament, the top seeds earn a bye into the semifinals on Thursday, April 17th, while seeds 3-6 will play in the first round on Tuesday, April 15th. The Warriors will host #6 seed Madonna who finished 2-5 in conference play. Tech defeated the Crusaders on March 26th 22-2.
