WHAC Releases Women's Lacrosse Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference released the women's lacrosse conference awards on Wednesday afternoon, with 10 Warriors earning all-conference honors. Noelle Ricci, Michelle Farrell, Da'zah Regusters, Lexi Gallini, Cyn'Cere McRae, Gabby Hitchcock, and Kat Hoff were named First Team All-Conference. Brook Maul, Kylie King, and Lauren Hainlin were named Second Team All-Conference. Along with being named to the First Team, sophomore midfielder Michelle Farrell was named WHAC Midfield Player of the Year. Cyena Williams was named to the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
 
Michelle FarrellMidfield Player of the Year/First Team All-Conference
Farrell, a sophomore from Auckland, New Zealand, earned Midfield Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference honors after starting all 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. Farrell has led the side in points, goals, and assists, posting 94 points, 55 goals, and 39 assists. She's also second on the team in draw controls with 57 and has tallied 55 ground balls and caused 27 turnovers this season. Additionally, Farrell's goal and point tallies lead the WHAC, while her 94 points are fourth in the nation. Her 39 assists are second in the conference and fifth in the country.
 
Noelle RicciFirst Team All-Conference
Ricci, a senior from Millersville, Maryland, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting 11 of the 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She has tallied 39 points, 21 goals, and 18 assists, while also picking up 16 ground balls and causing six turnovers.
 
Da'zah RegustersFirst Team All-Conference
Regusters, a senior from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting all 11 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She has tallied 37 points, 32 goals, and 5 assists. She led the side in draw controls with 60, while also picking up 50 ground balls and causing 28 turnovers.
 
Lexi GalliniFirst Team All-Conference
Gallini, a junior from Rockwall, Texas, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting all 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She recorded 3 points this season, all of which were goals. The defender tallied five draw controls, while also picking up 22 ground balls and causing 14 turnovers.

Cyn'Cere McRaeFirst Team All-Conference
McRae, a freshman from Evansville, Indiana, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting 10 of the 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She tallied one draw control, posted 14 ground balls, and caused nine turnovers.
 
Gabby HitchcockFirst Team All-Conference
Hitchcock, a junior from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting 10 of the 11 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She tallied two points this season on two goals. She also added one draw control, 29 ground balls, and caused 12 turnovers.
 
Kat HoffFirst Team All-Conference
Hoff, a senior from Williston, Vermont, earned First Team All-Conference honors after starting all 12 games in goal for the Warriors this season. She played 604 minutes in goal this season, allowing 77 goals while saving 88, and holds a 9-2 record. Additionally, she recorded 31 ground balls and caused two turnovers.
 
Brook MaulSecond Team All-Conference
Maul, a junior from Munster, Indiana, earned Second Team All-Conference honors after starting all 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She has tallied 31 points, 21 goals, and 10 assists, while also picking up 15 ground balls and causing four turnovers.
 
Kylie KingSecond Team All-Conference
King, a sophomore from Westlake, Ohio, earned Second Team All-Conference honors after starting all 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She has tallied 20 points, scored 17 goals, and added three assists. She also added 16 ground balls and caused six turnovers.
 
Lauren HainlinSecond Team All-Conference
Hainlin, a sophomore from Bristol, Indiana, earned Second Team All-Conference honors after starting all 12 games she appeared in for the Warriors this season. She finished second on the team in points, tallying 41, with 30 goals, and added 11 assists. She also added 33 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers, while securing 26 draw controls.
 
Cyena Williams was named as Indiana Tech's representative for the Champions of Character Team, which is made up of one nominee from each school who best exemplifies the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
 
Indiana Tech also had eight players named to the All-Academic Team, including Michelle Farrell, Lexi Gallini, Lauren Hainlin, Kat Hoff, Emma Kinder, Brook Maul, Sydney Oberdorfer, and Da'zah Regusters. To be named to the all-academic team, students must be a sophomore or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA and in attendance at the nominating school for one full year.
