Men’s Golf Tabbed Fourth in WHAC Preseason Poll

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's golf team was tabbed fourth in the 2025-26 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Indiana Tech received 105 points in this year's preseason poll after finishing in fifth place last season at the conference championships. During the fall part of last season, the Warriors would finish third at the WHAC Preview event. Lawrence Tech University was last season's WHAC Champion and was picked to repeat for the 2025-26 season. The Blue Devils received 138 points and seven of the 12 first place votes, just edging out the University of Northwestern Ohio, who received 136 points and four first place votes. Indiana Tech comes in just three points behind third placed Cornerstone University and 11 points ahead of fifth placed Cleary University. Cleary would receive the remaining first place vote.

The WHAC Preseason Poll is voted on by the league's head coaches. Points are tabulated by assigning 12 points to the team a coach ranks first, 11 points to a team a coach ranks second, and so on. The number of first-place votes indicates the number of coaches who ranked that team as the No. 1 team in the WHAC.
