OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. - The 2025-2026 Indiana Tech Golf season kicked off this week at the Lourdes Fall Invitational at The Legacy Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
Setting the pace for Indiana Tech was Miguel Gonzalez (Junior) shooting a score of two-over par, 74. Two others fired 4-over par 76,
Ruben Mate, and
Ashton Hoffbauer. Rounding out the counting scores for Tech was sophomore
Logan Keller, shooting 78. The Indiana Tech" A" team dropped a score of 80, from Junior,
Jackson Policicchio. The Warriors total of 304 was good for a third place finish in the large field, just four shots behind Champion, Ohio Northern University. Indiana Tech B shot 336, led by
Aidan Dufort (82)
Brayden Paterek (84)
Braden Hill (84) and
Trevor Reetz (86).
"I was happy with the way our kids battled today," said Coach
Mark Beneke. "Starting on the stretch of holes that we did, we knew we had to weather the storm early, and I was proud that our slow start didn't lead to negative attitudes." The Warriors will return to action next Friday at Cleary University for the Cleary Invitational.
