YORKTOWN, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's golf team finished third at the 2026 Men's Golf WHAC Tournament this past week.
Miguel Gonzalez Sanchez earned All-WHAC First Team and
Logan Keller earned All-WHAC Second Team.
The Indiana Tech Champion of Character was
Jackson Policicchio.
Carter Crist,
Jacob Haack,
Calvin Hartleroad,
Ashton Hoffbauer,
Logan Keller,
Ruben Mate, and
Jackson Policicchio were named to the All-Academic Team.
Indiana Tech finished third overall with a score of +37 over three days. The low score for the tournament for Tech was
Miguel Gonzalez Sanchez, whose +5 earned him a T4 finish.
Logan Keller shot +10 to finish T10.
Ashton Hoffbauer was +11 to finish T15, and
Ruben Mate was +16 to finish T19.
All-Conference (first and second team) honors were selected by the lowest scores from the WHAC Preview Stroke play tournament plus the Spring Conference Championship.
In addition to All-Conference, the league awarded All-Academic to sophomores or above in academic standing with a cumulative 3.25 GPA and in attendance at nominating school for one full year. The Champions of Character Team included one golfer from each school who was nominated by their head coach for best representing the NAIA core values.
