Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. – The #13 ranked Indiana Tech men's basketball team travelled to Adrian, Michigan on Wednesday for a WHAC game against Siena Heights University. The Warriors would dominate to a 95-67 road victory as Coach
Ted Albert picked up his 206th win at Tech, moving into second on the men's basketball all-time wins list.
The Warriors would jump out to an early 18-7 lead in less than five minutes of play and wouldn't look back. By halftime, eight different Warriors had scored a basket as the lead ballooned to 17 (46-29). The second half would be more of the same as Tech had a nearly identical 20 minutes, putting up 49 points in the period.
Steele Brasfield scored 19 points in the game to lead all scorers, while
Jaxson Fugate added 17 points and 7 rebounds.
Caleb Lehrman would pick up career highs in points (8) and rebounds (11), while shooting 100% from the field. Twelve Warriors would score in the 95-67 victory as the squad shot over 52% for the game. It was the 14
th of the season for Tech as the win pushed Coach Albert past the great Bob Macy (205) for second all-time in program history. He now trails just Tech coaching legend Dan Kline (270) for the most wins in Indiana Tech men's basketball history. In the eight seasons prior to this year, Albert had a record of 192-71 for a .730 winning percentage, the highest in program history.
The Warriors are now 14-2 overall and 10-1 in WHAC play as they sit alone atop the conference. They will play next at Aquinas on Saturday, January 17
th in Grand Rapids, Michigan at 3pm.
