FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's basketball team has been selected as the preseason favorites in the 2026 WHAC Coaches Poll.
 
Madonna is the preseason favorite, earning 99 points and 9 of the 10 First Place Votes. Indiana Tech received one first place vote, earning 91 points. The Warriors finished second in the WHAC a season ago, going 22-8 overall and 17-5 in WHAC play in 2025-26, earning a berth to the NAIA National Tournament.
 
The Warriors return one All-WHAC performer from a season ago, redshirt junior Logan Beaston. Ted Albert enters her 10^th season at the helm of Indiana Tech men's basketball.
 
The poll was voted on by the conference's ten head coaches with point values being assigned to each position.
