GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team was picked to finish third in the 2026 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the conference announced Thursday morning.
Indiana Tech received 83 points in this year's preseason poll after finishing in fourth place last season with a 10-6 conference record. The Warriors would fall in the first round of the WHAC Tournament to #5 seed Bethel University. Tech sits just three points behind the Pilots in this year's preseason poll. Lawrence Tech was picked to repeat as WHAC Champions, with 91 points, after going a perfect 16-0 in league play and winning the conference tournament last season. The Blue Devils received six of the ten first-place votes, while Bethel received three, and the Warriors got one.
The WHAC Preseason Poll is voted on by the league's head coaches. Points are tabulated by assigning 10 points to the team a coach ranks first, 9 points to a team a coach ranks second, and so on. The number of first-place votes indicates the number of coaches who ranked that team as the No. 1 team in the WHAC.
