FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Sophomore
Jaxson Fugate has been named the WHAC Player of the Year, the WHAC announced on Friday. In addition, Fugate was named to the All-WHAC First Team as well as the All-WHAC Defensive Team.
Blake Davison was named to the All-WHAC First Team, and
Logan Beaston was named to the All-WHAC Second Team. The Indiana Tech Champion of Character went to senior
Adam Walden. Eight Warriors were named to the WHAC All-Academic Team:
Brennan Miller,
Evan Haroldson,
Jaxson Fugate,
Blake Davison,
Steele Brasfield,
Brady Titus,
Caleb Lehrman, and
Eric Hobson.
Player of the Year, All-WHAC First Team, All-WHAC Defensive Team: Jaxson Fugate
The sophomore from Fort Wayne enjoyed a breakout season for the Warriors in 2025-26. Fugate ranks third in the WHAC with 20.7 points per game and fourth with 8.2 rebounds per game. Fugate has also been efficient from the field, sitting sixth in the WHAC with a 50.7 field goal percentage. He has been a force in the paint as well, sitting second in the WHAC with 48 blocks. Fugate is the fourth Indiana Tech men's basketball player to earn WHAC Player of the Year honors.
All-WHAC First Team: Blake Davison
For the second straight year,
Blake Davison has been named to the All-WHAC First Team. The senior guard from Fort Wayne has been invaluable to the Warriors success this season. Davison is currently averaging 16.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. The assists per game rank fifth in the WHAC, and the 16.3 points rank tenth.
All-WHAC Second Team: Logan Beaston
In year one as a Warrior,
Logan Beaston has fit right in, starting all 28 games. He averages 12.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. Beaston is one of the most lethal shooters in the conference, as the redshirt sophomore has hit 80 threes at a 40 percent clip, which ranks sixth in the WHAC.
