FORT WAYNE, Ind. – As winter sports wind down, only bowling remains in action, closing out the final stretch of the season. With new teams joining the roundup and familiar programs continuing their strong performances, the Warriors are staying active across the board. The Warriors currently have seven active programs represented in the latest polls or receiving votes.
Men's and women's bowling remain strong in the national polls as their seasons reach the postseason stage. The men's team comes in at No. 4, while the women sit at No. 12. The Indiana Tech men's bowling team earned the No. 5 seed in the upcoming 2026 NAIA Men's Bowling National Championships at Royal Scot in Lansing, Michigan. The tournament will take place March 19–21. In the NAIA's sixth year of hosting bowling championships, 2026 introduces a new championship format highlighted by the Mega Match structure in the winner's bracket. The men's team now looks to bring home a national championship this weekend. The women's bowling team has officially closed out their season after competing at the ITC Sectionals last weekend, where they finished in fifth place out of 17 teams, missing the cut for the ITC Nationals by one spot. However,
Leah Brazier qualified in the singles part of the tournament. She will compete at the ITC Singles Championships starting on April 13
th. The men finished in eighth out of 20 at the team ITC's but will be sending two bowlers to the ITC Singles Championships in
Hayden Tarris and
Malakai Pettrie.
Men's and women's lacrosse remain strong in the national polls, with the men ranked No. 10 and the women holding steady at No. 8. The No. 10 Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team opened conference play on the road against No. 8 Taylor University and secured an impressive victory. The Warriors offense was firing on all cylinders, led by
Cam Fewster (5 goals, 3 assists),
Jake Deacon (7 goals), and
Ryan Tedesco (4
goals, 3 assists). Defensively,
Zach Spisz anchored the effort, collecting seven ground balls in a strong all-around performance. The Warriors continued their momentum on Wednesday night, cruising to a dominant 24–7 win over Siena Heights University. The No. 8 Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team opened WHAC play on the road with a statement win over rival No. 10 Lawrence Tech, securing their second straight top ten victory. The Warriors followed that up with another big performance, defeating No. 10 Marian University 14–11 behind a strong second-half surge.
Jada Pope helped spark the offense, tying the game at 2–2 and igniting a 6–0 run that gave Tech control. The Warriors outscored Marian 10–3 in the second half and held them to just two goals in the fourth quarter.
Michelle Farrell led the way with a dominant all-around performance (4 goals, 1 assist, 7 draw controls, 5 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers), while
Lilliana Rivera added 1 goal, 3 assists, and strong work on the draw.
Kat Hoff secured the win in goal with 8 saves.
Both track and field teams remain strong in the national polls, with the women ranked No. 13 and the
men holding steady at No. 3 in the nation. At the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships, 24 Warriors earned All-American honors, with multiple athletes finishing in podium positions, including third to fifth, seventh, and eighth-place performances. Standout athletes such as
K'Leigh Davis,
Jayden Packer,
Nic Tozer, and Tatum Wiedehaft all reached the podium, representing Indiana Tech with strong performances on the national stage. Their success showcased the depth of the program, with athletes excelling across events including relays, pole vault, shot put, hurdles etc, all earning recognition on the national stage.
New to Roundup, Baseball joins the poll at 19th after receiving votes and continues to have a strong start to the season, sitting at 13–7 overall with a 3–1 mark in WHAC play. The Warriors have shown consistency both at home and on the road, with key wins coming against top-ranked national opponents, including victories over No. 6 University of the Cumberlands, No. 2 Georgia Gwinnett College, and No. 4 Tennessee Wesleyan. The team has also built momentum in conference play, opening WHAC action with a series win over Aquinas and strong performances against Rochester Christian. With a balanced attack and multiple statement wins already on the resume, the Warriors continue to establish themselves as a competitive force early in the season. They look to keep up the energy and continue building momentum heading into conference play.
Across all programs, the Warriors continue to make noise as the season pushes forward. From strong conference performances and national rankings to standout individual achievements, Indiana Tech athletes are competing at a high level across the board. With postseason runs, early-season momentum, and key matchups ahead, each program is building toward big moments as they continue their seasons.
