Taylor Covington Named NAIA Second Team All-American

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Senior guard Taylor Covington has been named an NAIA Second Team All-American for the second straight season, the NAIA announced on Monday.
 
Covington was sensational for the Warriors, earning her second straight WHAC Player of the Year Honor, becoming the fourth player in WHAC history to win back-to-back Player of the Year Honors. Covington averaged 18.8 points, 5.1 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.6 steals on the season.
 
Covington was named to the WHAC All-Conference First Team for the fourth consecutive season. Her efforts helped lead Indiana Tech to its fifth consecutive WHAC Regular Season Championship. Indiana Tech also won their second WHAC Conference Tournament in the last four years. The Warriors earned an 11 seed in the NAIA Tournament.
