Men’s Soccer Moves Up to No. 3 in First NAIA Poll, the Highest Ranking in Program History

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Indiana Tech men's soccer team moved up three spots to No. 3 this week in the first edition of the 2026 NAIA Coaches Top 25 Poll, released on Wednesday afternoon. It is the highest ranking in program history!

The Warriors entered the year at No. 6 after a national quarterfinal appearance last season and have now moved up three spots after a strong start to the year. Tech currently sits at 3-1-0 with ranked wins over Bethel (Ind.) and Lindsey Wilson (Ky.). Tech's only loss came against Dalton State (Ga.) who is now receiving votes in the poll. Oklahoma Wesleyan moved into the top spot with five first place votes, while Georgia Gwinnett is No. 2 with three first place votes. The Warriors received two first place votes and sit at No. 3, followed by No. 4 William Penn (Iowa) with one first place vote and No. 5 MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) with two first place votes. In all, eight different teams received first place votes and not one team from the preseason poll remained in the same spot in the first poll, making this season anyone's for the taking. The Warriors will face Eastern Oregon, who is receiving votes, in their next game.

The NAIA Poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each conference.
