Women’s Soccer Inks Danielle Blagojevic

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Danielle Blagojevic has signed an Indiana Tech Letter of Intent and will join the Warrior women's soccer program as a redshirt freshman for the 2018 season, head coach Jim Lipocky announced.

"I've had the honor to watch Dani grow as a person and as a player over the past few years, Lipocky said. "Few will match her determination and commitment. She will not only continue to improve as a player but she will make others around her better as well and that is a definition of a team player."

A 5'2" midfielder/forward, Blagojevic hails from North Ridgeville, Ohio and comes to Tech following one year at Slippery Rock University, where she redshirted her freshman season. A product of North Ridgeville High School, she finished her prep career with 20 goals, 38 assists and 78 points for the Rangers. A three-time All-County and two-time All-Conference selection, she captained her high school as a senior while leading the team in goals, assists and points. She also excelled on the basketball court and track, earning All-Conference accolades in both sports.

The daughter of Teresa and Daniel Blagojevic, she plans to study Fitness Recreation/Sports Psychology and Coaching in Human Performance at Tech.

"I choose Indiana Tech because of Coach Lipocky, a change in my academic major, and my outlook after having surgery on my ACL, MCL, meniscus and tibia plateau," Blagojevic said.
