Box Score
ADRIAN, Mich. – The third-ranked Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team kept its perfect Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record thanks to a 14 goal first half, leading to an 18-7 victory over Siena Heights on Sunday.

Things got off to a good start for the Warriors (5-2, 5-0) as Alexa Winter won the opening draw and Tech quickly turned it into a one-goal lead as Lauren Allard scored 14 seconds into the game. A missed shot and a successful clear by the Saints (6-7, 2-4) resulted in a tie as Sydney VanHoose found the net for the home team. That's when Tech began to pour it on, going on a 4-0 run with a tally from Alexis DiGiovanni, assisted by Aubri Hazen, followed by three goals from Kendall Guthrie for the 5-1 lead.

Two more tallies by the Saints cut the lead to two with 16:20 left in the first, but the Warriors scored four more unanswered goals, including two more from Guthrie, to push the lead to six, 9-3. SHU's fourth goal came from Stephanie Gonzalez at the 6:29 mark, but it was the last of the first half. Two more goals each from Tayler Campbell and DiGiovanni and a sixth tally from Guthrie with 49 seconds left in the half gave the Warriors the 14-4 lead at the break.

The Orange and Black outshot the home team 32-9 in the half and held a 14-5 margin in draw controls. Tech also turned the ball over just seven times while forcing SHU into 17 miscues.

It was a more defensive second half with just seven goals combined between the two teams, Winter got things started scoring the half's first goal for Tech with an assist from DiGiovanni. Erin Kehn and Autumn McMillin finished off the scoring, each scoring three times, trading goals over the final 24 minutes of play.

Tech finished the contest with a 40-19 advantage in shots, a 19-8 margin in draw controls and a 20-14 margin in turnovers. Tech also failed just four clear attempts while the Saints failed 11 times.

Guthrie led the Warriors with eight points (6 goals, 2 assists) while DiGiovanni finished with seven (4 goals, 3 assists) and McMillin added four points (4 goals). Meaghan Eldridge started in goal and got the win, allowing four goals while making four saves.

Kehn led the Saints with four points on her four goals while goalkeeper Tabitha Ferguson took the loss, allowing 18 goals while recording 15 saves.
