Box Score PONTIAC, Mich. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team recorded their first win of the 2013 season with a 22-3 victory over Lourdes at the Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac, Mich. on Wednesday afternoon.

The Warriors (1-1, 1-0) got their first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory thanks to eight points from Alexis DiGiovanni, seven from Autumn McMillin and six from Kendall Guthrie.

DiGiovanni and Guthrie put Tech ahead 2-0 less than one minute into the game and the rout was on. DiGiovanni got her first of four assists in the contest on McMillin's first goal of the game at the 28:44 mark. Kelly Bose netted her first goal of the season four minutes later while Guthrie added three more first half goals with Tayler Campbell, McMillin, Digiovanni and Alexa Winter all adding to the Warriors 11-2 halftime lead.

Tech continued to dominate in the second half with McMillin starting the scoring with 30 seconds off the clock in the period. The Warriors added 10 more goals from six different people, including Guthrie's 10th goal of the season, in route to the 22-3 win.

DiGiovanni finished with four goals and four assists while McMillin also had four goals and added three assists. Guthrie finished with six goals, Winter and Campbell both tallied three goals and Bose and Lauren Allard each had one.

Meaghan Eldridge and Gabby Young again split time in goal with Eldridge allowing two goals on six shots in the first half and Young finishing with one goal on two shots.
Katie Cerveny, Faith Fisher and Molly Porterfield recorded the three goals for the Grey Wolves (0-2, 0-1).

The Warriors return to Michigan next weekend as they face WHAC foe Lawrence Tech at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich. at 1 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 7.
