Box Score | FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- With a 4-3 win over Madonna University in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Semifinal game, the Indiana Tech baseball team has earned a spot in the championship game against Davenport Univeristy at 6:20 p.m.
Jared Harvey, a Fort Wayne, Ind. native, got the start and the win, his third of the season as the freshman allowed just two run on five hits over 6.2 innings, striking out four and walking three. Connor McClaughlin got his third save of the season with 2.1 innings of relief, allowing just one unearned run on two hits and two strikeouts.
Bryan Brudi provided the offense for the Warriors as the senior right-fielder and Churubusco, Ind. native went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and three runs scored.
Tech scored once in the first on a Brain Hakes two-out single and scored another on a wild pitch in the fifth. The final two tallies came in the seventh, on a two-run double by
Jacob Dunnichay.
