BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Indiana Tech American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 1 men's ice hockey team concluded their New York road trip on Sunday by defeating Canisius, 8-4, for their second win in three days over the Golden Griffins.
Tech got off to a quick start as they scored three goals in the opening period.

Jace Childs and
Brandon Gallo each picked up a goal for the Warriors. Two goals by Canisius however, would cut the lead to one after the first 20 minutes of play.
The Orange and Black would respond in the second with four goals in the second to push their lead to 7-2. Childs added two of those and also scored in the third to finish the game with four goals.
Chad Frost and
Anthony Passarelli also scored in the second period.
John Slavik picked up the win in goal, allowing four goals and making 32 saves.
"It's good to bounce back the way we did today, especially on the road," head coach
Frank DiCristofaro. This upcoming week will be a good time to rest up as we move into a busy November."
Tech (6-4) does not play again until Nov. 2, when they face off with Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League (GLCHL) rival Rochester College. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. from Fraser Hockeyland.
