ADRIAN, Mich. – The Indiana Tech ACHA Division 1 men's ice hockey team fell to third ranked Adrian, 4-1, on Friday evening at Arrington Ice Arena.
The Bulldogs struck first at 16:23 in the first period as Matthew Schwehr beat
Chet Tooker for the first goal of the night. Adrian would add another goal on a power play at 17:44 in the second period following a roughing penalty on
Ryan Attwood.
Brian Skillicorn would put the Warriors on the board six minutes later as he notched his second goal of the season.
Adam Jonak would get credit on the assist, his 13
th of the year and on the team.
The deficit would go back to two just two minutes later at 9:13 in the second as the Nicholas Goettel would score his second of the night. Schwehr would also add his second goal at 8:06 in the third to give the hosts a 4-1 lead.
Tooker made 20 saves on 24 shots. The Orange and Black fired off 25 shots and had eight power plays, but failed to capitalize on them.
