FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Mother Nature has decided to make her presence felt again this spring after a week-long absence, forcing the Indiana Tech baseball team to postpone its Wednesday doubleheader with crosstown rival Saint Francis due to the expected rain showers.
The two teams will make up the twin-bill on two separate days now, with USF hosting the first game on Thursday, April 20, with a 3 p.m. first pitch at Cougar Field, while Tech will host the second game on Wednesday, April 26, starting at 6 p.m. at Warrior Field.
The Orange and Black return to action this weekend as they travel to Grand Rapids, Michigan for a three-game set with Davenport in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play. The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. with a single nine-inning game taking place on Sunday at 12 p.m. All three games will be played at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex.
