The Warriors took on the Trine Thunder in a Tuesday night hockey game of in-state rivals, falling 7-4.
The Warriors would fall behind early 2-0 but would respond with goals from
Anthony Passarelli and
Conner Sharrett. After the first period the game would be tied 2-2. Second period would be another back in forth period with two goals coming from each side again.
Blake Anderson would tie the game up at three for the Warriors.
Bear Ross would give the Warriors a 4-3 lead, before Trine would score to tie the game up. In the third period, the wheels would fall off for the Warriors as they would give up three unanswered goals to Trine. Trine would come out ahead 7-4.
Even though it was a loss, it was an intriguing loss as the Warriors played quite possibly their most complete game of the year. Indiana Tech will face Western Michigan this upcoming weekend in hopes of continuing how well they played on Tuesday. Friday's game will be at SportOne IceHouse at 8:30. Saturday's game will be up in Michigan. Â
