The Indiana Tech ACHA hockey team split with Calvin just before Thanksgiving Break.
Calvin was ranked 10
th in North Region while Tech was right behind them ranked 11
th. Tech would lose the first game 4-3 to Calvin.
Blake Anderson,
Bear Ross and
Anthony Passarelli were the goal scorers for the Warriors that night. On the next night, the Warriors would win big 9-3 over Calvin.
Blake Anderson would lead the Warriors offensive attack with 3 goals and 1 assist on the night.
Jordan Reese would have 2 goals on the night. Evan Michmerhuizen would score his first colligate goal as a Warrior. Bobby Frieson,
Tommy Irick, and
Anthony Passarelli would add the other 3 goals for Tech.
Jarod Potasnik would have 22 saves on the night.
           The Warriors would not move in the rankings that were released last week over Thanksgiving break. The Warriors are on the outside looking in for regional rankings. The top 10 teams make it to regionals. Tech comes out of Thanksgiving break with a 7-6-0-2 record. The ACHA team is back in action this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tech will take on 6
th ranked Indiana University on Friday and Saturday. Game times are 8:30 pm Friday and 5:30 pm Saturday. Sunday's game will be at 12:00 pm against Western Michigan. Indiana Tech has a chance to win the Budget Cup for the second year in a row.
