After a tough loss in Adrian early Sunday morning, Indiana Tech ACHA hockey team took on Trine University Tuesday night on home ice.
Tech got off to a hot start with two goals in the first 4 minutes of the game.
Connor Barney would score first for Tech, followed by a goal from
Tommy Irick.
Anthony Passarelli would have a big night for Indiana Tech, scoring his first goal of the night in the later half of the first period. Tech would strike early again in the second with a goal from
Blake Anderson.
Anthony Passarelli would make it 5-0 Tech after he added his second goal of the night. Passarelli would complete the hat-trick after he tipped in a shot from the point later on in the second period. Trine would score one before the second would end. Trine would then add another goal in the third, and that would be all the scoring in the third period. Tech would get a huge win 6-2.
         Friday night will be the last home game of the season for the ACHA team. The Warriors will be tested in a must win game against 10
th ranked Saginaw Valley. Tech is currently ranked 12
th on the outside of regionals and trying to make a late season push to get into the top 10. Friday night will also see the seniors be honored and their families. Puck drop is at 7:30 pm at SportOne/Parkview Ice House. Come out and support your Warriors in their late season push for playoffs!
