Box Score TOLEDO, Ohio – The No. 7-ranked Indiana Tech men's ice hockey team defeated the University of Toledo, 6-1, on Saturday evening inside the Team Toledo Ice House to run their winning streak to 11 straight games.
The Rockets struck first with a goal at the 13:17 mark in the opening period, but
Mike Tish tied the game up at 1-1 just two minutes later for his seventh goal of the season. The flood gates opened in the second period as the Warriors scored four goals in the first eight minutes of the period to take a 5-1 lead.
Ryan Attwood netted the first two goals at 18:56 and 15:50 while
Matej Krasny made it 4-1 at the 14:58 mark.
Bryson Linenburg made 19 saves in the contest to improve to 9-0 on the season while
Blake Cudmore was credited with assists on Tech's first two goals.
Tech (15-2-0) will take two-week hiatius from game action before closing out the fall semester against Ohio University December 13-14 in Athens. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. both nights from Bird Ice Arena.
