Warriors Grind Out Win Against Lynx to Clinch Berth in NAIHA National Championship

ANTIOCH, Tenn. – The Indiana Tech men's hockey team headed into the semifinals of the North American Intercollegiate Hockey Association (NAIHA) National Tournament as the number one overall seed after defeating Concordia University (Mich.) and Waldorf University in pool play action, 6-2 and 5-2, respectively. Tech defeated Lindenwood University – Belleville, 2-1, in the semifinals Saturday evening to advance to the NAIHA National Tournament Championship game for the second straight season inside the Ford Ice Center.

The Lynx scored just 58 seconds into the game, but that would be all that they would get past Ryan O'Toole while Jimmie Kotilainen tied it up with 9:57 to play in the second and Francesco Corona put the Warriors up 2-1 with a goal at the 10:01 mark in the third.

Tech (33-3-0) takes its 28-game winning streak into the championship game against the winner of Midland University and Lawrence Tech. Puck drop is set for 4:15 p.m. EST from the Ford Ice Center.
