CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – Men's ice hockey came up short against Adrian in the ACHA National Tournament semifinals yesterday to put an end to an impressive season.
Just 4:26 into the first period the Warriors scored the first goal on a powerplay by
Adam Vannelli from
Zach Bennett. Tech was unable to hang on to their lead for long when at the 6:51 mark Adrian snuck one into the net to tie the game 1-1. Before the first period ended, Adrian scored again to take a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
Adrian scored another in the second period and solidified their victory in the third with a fourth goal to end the Warriors season with a 4-1 loss.
Bryson Linenburg was in net for the Warriors and tallied 30 saves.
