Box Score Holland, Mich. – November 21, 2025 — Despite a strong effort and nearly even shot totals, Indiana Tech came up short Friday night, falling 4–1 to Hope College in an MD1 matchup.
Hope broke the scoring open with just five seconds left in the first period, when Cade Pratt found the back of the net to give the Flying Dutchmen a 1–0 lead heading into intermission.
Indiana Tech responded early in the second, as Jeremy Dunmore buried his second goal of the season at 4:27, tying the game 1–1. The Warriors generated consistent pressure throughout the period, outshooting Hope 15–12, but couldn't take the lead.
The third period, however, belonged to Hope. The Flying Dutchmen capitalized at 7:21 to regain the lead, then added two late goals—including an empty-netter—to put the game out of reach. Pratt and Jake Onstott each finished with multi-point nights to pace Hope's offense.
Despite the loss, Indiana Tech held strong statistically, finishing just one shot behind Hope (38–37) and going toe-to-toe in puck possession. Both penalty kills were perfect, with each team going 0-for-3 or 0-for-5 on the power play.
Indiana Tech moves to 6–4 on the season, and looks to improve in their next match up against #5 Adrian College.
