FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Indiana Tech men's hockey wrapped up a competitive weekend series against Grand Valley State, earning a 2–2 tie on Friday before falling 4–2 on Saturday in Georgetown.

On Friday night, the Warriors showed resilience after falling behind early. Grand Valley State scored twice in the opening period, but Indiana Tech responded quickly as Mason Bazaluk scored just 23 seconds after the Lakers' second goal to make it 2–1. After a scoreless second period, Ethan Dominy netted the equalizer at 8:14 of the third, assisted by Luke Anderson, forcing overtime. Both teams were held scoreless in the extra frame, and the contest ended in shootout loss for Tech.

Saturday's match up saw Grand Valley State jump out to another early lead, scoring twice in the first period and adding two more goals in the second to build a 4–0 advantage. Indiana Tech answered late in the second when Aidan Dufort found the back of the net at 18:05 with an assist from Ryan Doucette. The Warriors carried that momentum into the third period as Ryan Doucette scored at 7:15, assisted by Ethan Dominy and Malik Ali, cutting the deficit to 4–2. Indiana Tech outshot the Lakers 12–5 in the third period but was unable to complete the comeback.

Indiana Tech finished the weekend showing grit and consistency, remaining competitive throughout both games and continuing to build momentum as the season progresses. The Warriors will now rest and recover over the break before returning to action against Aquinas on January 2nd, looking to start the new year strong.
