Men’s Lacrosse Selected Second in 2026 WHAC Preseason Poll

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team was selected second in the 2026 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the conference announced Thursday.

Indiana Tech received 48 points and one of the seven first-place votes after finishing last season as WHAC Co-Champions and making an appearance at the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals! The Warriors come in seven points behind Madonna University who finished last season tied atop the WHAC standings as Co-Champions. The Crusaders received the other six first place votes and are projected to win the conference. Tech is second, five points ahead of Aquinas College and 15 points ahead of Taylor University.

The WHAC Preseason Poll is voted on by the league's head coaches. Points are tabulated by assigning seven points to the team a coach ranks first, six points to a team a coach ranks second, and so on. The number of first-place votes indicates the number of coaches who ranked that team as the No. 1 team in the WHAC.
