Men’s Lacrosse Opens at No. 6 in NAIA Coaches Top 10 Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Indiana Tech men's lacrosse team opens the 2026 season at No. 6 in the 2025 NAIA Coaches Top 10 Preseason Poll, the NAIA announced Wednesday.

Tech received 40 points in this year's preseason ranking after being WHAC regular season co-champions and making it to the NAIA National Championship quarterfinals last season. Tech would go 13-4 overall and 6-1 in WHAC play last season. In this year's preseason poll, the Warriors come in three points behind No. 5 ranked Reinhardt (Ga.) and seven points ahead of No. 7 ranked William Penn (Iowa). In the WHAC, Madonna (Mich.) comes in at No. 2, Tech at No. 6, Aquinas (Mich.) at No. 6, while Lawrence Tech (Mich.) and Taylor (Ind.) are tied at No. 10. Michigan-Dearborn is receiving votes, making it six out of the seven WHAC schools to appear in the preseason poll. Defending national champion Keiser (Fla.) is the unanimous No. 1, followed by Cumberlands (Ky.) and Madonna (Mich.) tied at No. 2.

Tech will open the season against the #1 ranked Seahawks on February 21st at home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
