Women’s Lacrosse Starts the Year at No. 7 in NAIA Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Indiana Tech women's lacrosse team starts the year at No. 7 in the 2026 NAIA Coaches Top 10 Preseason Poll, the NAIA announced Wednesday morning.

Tech received 43 points in this year's preseason ranking after going 11-4 overall and 6-1 in conference play last season, finishing as WHAC regular season co-champions and a conference tournament championship game appearance. In this year's preseason poll, the Warriors sit just two points behind No. 6 ranked Reinhardt (Ga.) and five points ahead of WHAC foe No. 8 Lawrence Tech (Mich.). Defending national champion Reinhardt (Ga.) is No. 1 with 70 points and four first place votes, followed by Keiser (Fla.) with 68 points and one first place vote and Cumberlands (Ky.) with 67 points and one first place vote.

Tech will open the season on the road against No. 3 ranked Cumberlands (Ky.) on March 2nd in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
