FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Zack Karns, Dylan Poore, Nolan Bosley, Michelle Farrell, Cam Fewster, and Jack Ferguson were named Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Players of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Men's Volleyball swept all three awards this week after a huge week, going 3-0 with wins over #7 Lourdes, Goshen, and #10 Bethel, as Zack Karns was named WHAC Defender of the Week, Dylan Poore was named WHAC Attacker of the Week, and Nolan Bosley was named WHAC Setter of the Week. Karns recorded 12 blocks, averaging 1.20 per set, and had 13 kills, 3 assists, and 2 digs. Poore recorded 44 kills, averaging 4.40 per set, and had 8 digs, 6 aces, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Bosley recorded 115 assists, averaging 11.50 per set, and had 18 digs, 10 blocks, 4 kills, and 1 ace.

Michelle Farrell scored 13 points this week against a pair of top ten opponents in #10 Lawrence Tech and #9 Marian to earn WHAC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. The junior had 5 goals and 8 assists, while also recording 8 draw controls, 7 ground balls, and 3 caused turnovers. It is the third time this season she has earned WHAC POW honors. Cam Fewster had the best week of his career, posting a massive 24 points in two games, scoring 7 goals and picking up 17 assists to earn WHAC Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week. He would post career highs in assists (9) and points (14) in the win over (RV) Taylor before following it up with near identical numbers in a road win at Siena Heights. Also had 7 ground balls and a caused turnover in the week. Jack Ferguson was named WHAC Baseball Player of the Week after a big week all around. The junior went 10 for 19 at the plate with 3 walks and 5 HBP to record splits of .526, .667 obp, and 1.263 slg over 7 games last week. He hit 4 bombs and 2 doubles, bringing in 16 RBIs and scoring 7 runs, while also recording 33 putouts and 3 assists with a near perfect fielding percentage.

Conference player of the week awards are released every Monday throughout the school year.
