FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Softball ace
Savannah Bravo has been named the Warrior of the Month for March, the Indiana Tech Athletic Department announced.
The Arroyo Grande, California native was nearly untouchable in the month of March, dominating in the circle for the Warriors, helping them to an 11-1 record. Bravo would pitch in 12 games in March, starting 11 of them, going the distance in eight, and picking up 11 wins. Over the course of the month, the senior would record 75.0 innings pitched, finishing with just 50 hits and 14 earned runs allowed, while posting a 1.30 ERA. Bravo threw 101 strikeouts in March and surpassed the 500-career strikeout milestone in a 1-0 win against #19 Midland University on March 13
th! The day before, she would tie a career high with 13 strikeouts in a 7-1 win over Valley City State University. She became the all-time leader in strikeouts at Tech earlier this season. During the month of March, Bravo also threw a no-hitter against Grace College on March 4
th, pitching seven innings and throwing 11 strikeouts in a 5-0 Warriors win. Overall, the Warriors are 26-12 so far this season and are currently sitting in second place in the WHAC standings with a 10-4 record with six conference games remaining. Bravo and the Warriors will be back in action this weekend for her senior day against the University of Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday, April 11
th and then against #2 Madonna University on Sunday, April 12
th.
Bravo joins Kristin Matlack, Liam Arthur, Bronwyn Nel, Jonathan Kervin, Jaxson Fugate, and Taylor Covington as Warriors of the Month in 2025-26. Each month during the academic year, the Indiana Tech Athletic Department honors one athlete that has excelled in their sport and in the classroom while displaying "Warrior Pride" throughout the month.
