FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's soccer team has been picked to finish eighth in the 2026 WHAC Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll, the conference announced.
In last season's preseason poll. Indiana Tech was projected to finish ninth. The Warriors went 3-11-1 overall last season and 3-7-1 in WHAC play, good for a tenth-place finish. The Indiana Tech looks to return to the WHAC Tournament after missing it last season.
Indiana Tech returns several key performers from last year, including five seniors with minutes from last season:
Shelby DeRidder,
Georgina Palos Noguer,
Chante Perkins,
Cecelia Landsiedal, and
Payton Kuhn.
UNOH led the way in the 2026 Preseason Poll, earning 130 points with all 10 first place votes. Aquinas was second with 114 points, Madonna was third with 104 points, and Cornerstone with 102 points.
The poll was voted on by the conference's ten head coaches with point values being assigned to each position. A team gets 13 points for a first-place vote, 12 points for a second-place vote, and so on.
