FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech women's volleyball team has been picked to finish third in the 2026 WHAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll, the conference announced.
The Warriors finished 22-12 overall and 14-6 in WHAC play in 2025. Indiana Tech finished third in the regular season and made it to the conference semifinals. The Warriors have finished in the top three in each of the last four seasons under head coach
Matt Fishman.
Indiana Tech returns four All-WHAC performers from a season ago:
Lauren Snyder,
Hannah Teich,
Emiline Wood and
Kristin Matlack. In addition to the returners, the Warriors added seven freshmen to the roster this season.
Aquinas was selected as the preseason favorite, receiving 98 points and eight first place votes. Cornerstone was second with 89 points and one first place vote. Both teams are ranked in the NAIA Top 25 at No. 17 and No. 21, respectively.
The poll was voted on by the conference's nine head coaches with point values being assigned to each position. A team gets 11 points for a first-place vote, 10 points for a second-place vote, and so on.
