SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Indiana Tech American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division 3 men's ice hockey team fell to the Lawrence Tech "Blue" team, 6-1, on Friday evening at Southfield Ice Arena.
Nick Janiszewski gave the Warriors the lead just under three minutes into the game, but the Blue Devils would score twice in the last three minutes and 24 seconds of the opening period to head into the intermission with the 2-1 lead.
Lawrence Tech would score twice in each of the next two periods, including twice on power plays, to finish the game on a 6-0 run.
The Orange and Black were marred by penalties all night as well, picking up 11 penalties for 42 total minutes, including three game misconducts.
Jordan Reese added an assist on Janiszewski's goal and
Chris Boyd finished the game with 38 saves.
