In her first season at the helm, Wilson led her squad to a 25-12 record with a 9-2 mark in conference play. The Warriors finished the year third in the WHAC standings and advanced all the way to the conference tournament semifinals.

Scouting the Opposition: The Blue Devils snapped a 10-match losing streak when they Michigan-Dearborn on Wednesday for their first conference win of the year. Series History: The Warriors are 1-4 to the Blue Devils since 2012. Last year in Southfield, Lawrence Tech pulled out a thrilling four-set victory of the Orange and Black for their first win over the last five games in the series

Picking up the Hardware: The junior duo of Cassie Sarabia and Taylor Kelso were named the WHAC Attacker and Defender of the Week, respectively, in the latest weekly WHAC awards. Sarabia garnered her first-career weekly award after leading the Warriors in kills last week, registering 16 in a 3-1 win over Marygrove on Wednesday, before recording a career-high 18 against UNOH on Saturday in a 3-1 victory. Kelso also picked up her first weekly conference award after two more matches in which she recorded double-digit digs. She notched 22 against the Mustangs and 29 against the Racers to increase her total to 262 on the year.

Digging It: Junior Taylor Kelso has made a living diving on the floor over her three years with the Warriors. Through her first two seasons, she amassed 1,142 digs and is showing no signs of slowing down. Through 12 matches this year, she has 262 digs, tied for 38th in the nation, including a season high 31 against Bethel. She has only failed to break double-digit digs once this year, when she only notched nine against Concordia on Sept. 9. Kelso has reached 30 or more digs three times in her career. Her 5.46 digs per set currently ranks 16th in the nation leads the WHAC, while she is second in the conference in total digs.

Block Party: Freshman Gabby Staggs has made her living at the net on defense this season. She ranks first in the WHAC in blocks per set (1.22) and third in total blocks (56). Nationally, Staggs ranks 22nd in blocks per set and is tied for 40th in total blocks. She has played in all but two sets this fall and ranks fourth on the team in kills (58).
