FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech ACHA Division 3 men's ice hockey team fell to Aquinas College, 7-2, on Friday evening at the SportONE/Parkview Icehouse in Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC) West action.
The Saints would take advantage of five Warrior penalties, converting on three of them, and scored the first three goals of the game before
Brendan Pfeiffer at 11:17 in the second to make it a 3-1 game.
Aquinas though, would counter with another goal just 21 seconds later and tacked on three more goals in the third to come away with the 7-2 win.
Jordan Pitlick scored the other Tech goal while
Chris Boyd made 21 saves in the loss.
Tech (3-8-0, 2-8-0 MCHC) heads to Michigan on Saturday for the series finale between the two teams. Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m. from Southside Ice Arena in Bryon Center, Michigan.
