FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team will compete in a match for the first time in nearly 50 years Thursday evening as they welcome Belmont Abbey College to the Schaefer Center for their first game of the 2020 season. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m. on Kline Court.
Head coach
Kyle Shondell will have 10 players hit the court when the ball is served, with eight first-year players and two transfers comprising the roster. Junior
Chase Christiansen is the only player with collegiate experience after spending the last two years at Alderson Broaddus University while
Chandler Davis spent a redshirt season at Ottawa University (Kan.) last year as a freshman.

Mason Milan,
Cameron Ternent and
Jason Miller of Ohio,
Joey Hermes of Texas and
Dante Siracusa from California.
Belmont Abbey, a member of the Coastal Carolinas Conference in NCAA Division I, comes to the Summit City for their first match of the year after going 15-11 in 2019. The Crusaders will spend their first three matches of the season in Indiana as they take on Ball State University and Purdue University Fort Wayne on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
