FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Indiana Tech men's volleyball team is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for The 2026 NAIA Men's Volleyball Championship. The tournament will open with pool play matches on Tuesday, April 28 in the Alliant Energy PowerHouse. 

The tournament's first three days, from April 28-30, will consist of pool play matches. There are four pools and each pool is made up of three teams. The team with the best record in each pool, or the team with the most wins in a tie-break scenario, will advance to the semifinals. The semifinals mark the start of single-elimination bracket play, with the winners advancing to the championship.

The 2026 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Championship is broadcast FREE on the NAIA Channel of the Urban Edge Network and the newly redesigned NAIA Network for all matches at the final site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Pool Play Schedule (all times central):

April 28, 29, 30 - 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.

May 1 - Tiebreak matches (if necessary) begin at 8 a.m. CT

Tie-Breaking Procedure 
The following procedure is to be used to determine the place in pool play and cannot eliminate a team from the competition
1. Overall match record
2. Head-to-head competition
3. Percentage of sets won of those played among tied teams (total sets won/total sets played)
4. Percentage of points won in matches played among tied teams (total points won/total points played)
5. Coin flip

The three tied teams in the pool will play a single set to 25 points (win by 2 points; no cap) to determine the winner of the pool and advance to the semifinals. The team judged to be superior amongst the tied teams by the procedure listed above will earn the first bye in the pool playoff. The other two teams shall play one set to 25 points (win by two points; no cap) and the winner will play the bye team one set to 25 points (win by two points; no cap) – For a total of two 25-point sets. Only one team will advance out of pool play.
