Ternent Named to WHAC All-Freshmen Team

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Indiana Tech freshman Cameron Ternent was named to the All-Freshman Team by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) as the conference office released the 2020 honors Tuesday.
 
Ternent led the first-year program in kills (199) and service aces (25) while adding 118 digs and 33 blocks, ranking third and fourth on the team, respectively. The Jackson Township, Ohio native ranked 19th in the NAIA in aces and 35th in kills, and fourth and seventh in the conference, respectively.
 
Classmate Kersen Trim was the team's representative on the WHAC Champions of Character Team, which is comprised of one player from each school that best exemplifies the five core character values, respect, integrity, responsibility, servant leadership and sportsmanship, of the NAIA.
 
The duo are the first members of the program to earn regular season conference honors from the WHAC.
